“十四五”时期，全省累计完成林草沙综合治理面积6929.96万亩，治理任务量位居全国前列。持续推动省市单位包片支持兰州市南北两山绿化，新造林8623亩、退化林修复1.16万亩，成为省市联动、持久增绿的典范。一系列扎实行动换来生态指标的积极变化：“十四五”时期，全省森林覆盖率从11.33%提升至12.97%，森林蓄积量增长至2.8亿立方米以上；草原综合植被盖度稳定在53.51%；荒漠化、沙化土地面积呈现“整体遏制、持续缩减”的良好态势。同时，持续强化林草良种选育推广，林草种业基础不断夯实，审（认）定林木良种51个、草品种33个。优化种苗基地布局，建设林草种苗基地102处，全力开展林草种苗保供，为科学绿化提供坚实保障。
